Question????
Why is it that every time you do what you think is right, work your tail off, and think FINALLY, everything is gonna work out like it should, you get disappointed? How would you answer this? I will not go into any details so please don't ask but really I am looking for the right words and wisdom to help someone, including myself, understand why things don't always end up like we think and KNOW they should and please don't tell me everything happens for a reason, 'cuz right now, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT!

I often wonder the same thing, Lisa. In these past several months, I have done all that I know to do to bring a change about in my life, but...no change! A thought came to me the other day...maybe God is not working on ME...maybe He is working on someone else.....
I'm kind of scared to comment but I'm going to any way... I would like to think that I'm never off the radar in God's eyes... I have to tell myself that when I don't get what I've worked for or tried for it's because there is a reason, one time I applied for a job and I totally should have gotten it but they gave it to some good ole boy, not even 6 months later Sager was in the hospital and then 6 months or so after that the good ole boy was being investigated because he worked for a bad judge (the good ole boy wasn't bad, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time). I couldn't tell you how horrible devastated I was, I mean crazy sad... but now look at me, I haven't ever been investigated by the law!! There has to be some thing, some reason, you just don't know it, just wait, you might just figure it out... You are too good, too hard working, too wonderful, to not get what you want!
You are making me think deep today! I think words like, "It wasn't meant to be" or "It just isn't your time" really don't help in situations like this. They mean well....but just do not help the person who is on the "short-end" of the stick.
I think the best words of advice are take what hurts you and use it to become better. Kind of a "I'll show them" kind of mantra. I can think of one time in particular that a person close to me got the short-end of the stick because they had an issue with me. It was sad and I don't have any use at all for that person. But, it did make the person it happened to a lot stronger and a better person for it. They were able to see how political things can be and how sad it is when people hold grudges against one person and take it out on others....especially those who are younger. But, alas....karma..... It is a great thing. Especially when people who do most of the "dumping" on others because they think they are in a position to....what comes around, goes around! :)
I know that wasn't much of an answer...but....it sounded good when I wrote it! LOL
