Chelsea is involved in something new this year, at least new for her. She is on the flag drill team. It has been a while since Childress had flag girls in the band and she is thrilled to a part of their return. The drill team had a feature in the pep rally this week and then marched, sort of, with the band at halftime on Friday. I am proud of her courage in getting out there and doing this and also proud of the amount of time she has put into doing it well.

My Lynsi was a flag girl all through high school. She loved it. It is good to see them back. She did a good job Friday night. I didn't get to see the pep rally, but I'm sure it was good, too.
